Arts Award //
Trinity College London & Arts Council England

Between 2010 and 2012, I worked for Trinity College London, as Arts Development Lead; during which time I led the academic strategy, design development, commercial planning, national pilot and launch of Arts Council England’s
two new arts qualifications for children and young people:
Arts Award Discover // Arts Award Explore
These were designed in consultation with over 120 arts and cultural organisations and several thousand participants - children, young people, artists, teachers, policy makers, youth and community leads, galleries, museums, libraries, academics and parents, around the country. Before being launched, with poet and children's author Michael Rosen, at the Discover Children’s Story Centre in London, produced by myself with a team of arts sector professionals.
To date, a total of 563,973 awards have been achieved (across all five levels) by children and young people. Read more about the impact of Arts Award.
In addition, I also led the research and early pilot phase of a national, digital ‘Cultural Passport’ following the Henley Review, commissioned by Arts Council England and the Department for Education.
