Learning Lefkaritika, on placement in Cyprus
This summer, as part of my Creative Writing MA Dissertation, I studied heritage crafts during a residency in the small village of Lefkara, Cyprus. Funded by Erasmus, through Grampus Heritage, I discovered the craft of Lefkaritika (now the subject of a PhD proposal) and at the same time began to unravel layers of family history.
Find out more about my placement on this blog post I wrote for Brighton University.
